Don’t fall for the “Free Consultation” in the Hypnotists Office Scam

There is a so called “hypnotist” in the Pittsburgh area that advertises a free consultation in his office. When he gets you in there, he high pressures you into signing up for many sessions at a low fee per session (about $100 each.) But it adds up to $400, $500 or as much a $1000. He takes your credit card and charges you up front. Then after your first session the next sessions are just a matter of him playing a CD recording of another hypnotist. He doesn’t even stay in the room with you. He bought these CD’s from another hypnotist who franchises this method.

Many people get so upset because of this treatment they don’t come back for the rest of the sessions they have paid for. They lose their money! Of course he loves this. He doesn’t have to put up with the client anymore and can sell that same time to someone else. Look at the facts:

1. For weight loss, stop smoking and many other issues, only one session is ever needed, when the hypnosis is done properly. No need to keep going back. A good hypnotist will do it right and give you a personal recording of YOUR OWN SESSION.

2. You don’t have to go into a hypnotists office for a “free consultation”. Any honest hypnotist will give you a free consultation over the phone and/or through his web site. It’s the 21st century. No need to waste time and gas money to travel somewhere. It just ends in you getting a high pressure selling job to sign up for sessions you absolutely don’t need.
